We love to have visitors on our farm!  We do not charge for tours - we just ask for a donation to help pay for the cost of animal feed (it costs us about $50 a day to feed the animals on our farm). We have lots of animals to pet (sheep, dogs, goats, Scottish Highland Cattle, and even some turkeys and chickens! Tours are walking (so bring comfortable shoes) and you will get to see a real working farm. Tours are usually led by one of the owners and can be scheduled for Saturday's. Just call or email us in advance ( or 859 536 0767) to schedule a time.

Our farm is also available for events, parties, and photo sessions (the Highland cattle are extremely photogenic!).  Depending on the scope and scale of the event charges will vary, but we try to keep things very reasonable. We do allow primitive camping on the back 20 acres of the farm. Call or email us to book your event. We have even had a rap video filmed on our farm - check it out !

Ozark Highlands Sheep & Fiber Festival

Mesta Meadows is proud to host the annual Ozark Highlands Sheep and Fiber Festival. At this annual even we open our farm to vendors, education sessions, demonstrations, and visitors to learn about sheep and natural fibers and fiber artists.  There is no cost to attend the event.

And during the event, we have two days of sheering demonstrations where attendees can actually watch our sheep being sheered.

To learn more about the fiber festival, please visit the festival page on Facebook - Ozark Highlands Sheep and Fiber Festival
